Warehouse Associate Job at Wegmans Food Markets in Ashland

As part of our Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service by accurately selecting products ordered by Wegmans stores. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a sharp eye, and teamwork. Apply today and join our team!

What will I do?

1. Build pallets safely and efficiently, minimizing product damage and maximizing trailer space.
2. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and Vocollect devices safely.
3. Perform order audits to ensure accuracy and quality.
4. Maintain knowledge of quality standards and product specifications.
5. Report daily quality issues to management using reports and other communication methods.
6. Maintain the cold chain for temperature-sensitive loads.
7. Work in cold environments and lift weights averaging 20-25 pounds, with occasional lifts over 50 pounds.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and Vocollect systems.

Note: Frozen positions earn an extra $2.00/hour.
