Overview
Administrative Assistant role at City of New York. Hours: Full Time- 35 Hours. Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101.

Under The Direction Of The Engineering Audit Officer, Executive Director, And The Division Administrative Officer/Audit Assistant, The EAO Administrative Assistant will assist the DAO/Audit Assistant with various administrative functions within the Engineering Audit Office. This includes serving as the primary Technology and Innovation liaison who will create tickets in the Trak-It database with an assigned workstation, and coordinate with a T&I Technician to ensure proper PC and monitors are at location set up according to the Systems Access Request (SAR) prior to the start date of the new hire. The Administrative Assistant will also follow up with all open ticket status until the ticket is resolved and attend T&I Liaison meetings as required.
The EAO Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assigning Payments in the PIMS PDMS and Paylog database when needed and in the absence of the DAO/Audit Assistant and the EAO College Aide. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and submitting the Daily Current Open Payment Log numbers for review and assignment of contract payments to the auditors. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with special projects as directed. The selected candidate will maintain copies of all EAO auditing databases this include, the monthly Change Order and Audit log numbers. Provide maintenance to all copiers and printers for the division this includes, order and replacement of ink cartridges, and orders and refills copy machine paper. The selected candidate will assist the DAO/ Audit Assistant with drafting presentations, creating and updating the division spreadsheets, and creating word documents as directed.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
- Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 keystrokes (20 words) per minute.
- Preferred Skills Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
