We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Administrative Assistant to support our Supply Chain department. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Supply Chain Director and team, including scheduling, reporting, and internal communications.
  • Assist with planning and tracking departmental projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain digital documentation and perform audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support inventory control, order processing, and logistics coordination as needed.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, QA, and Logistics teams to resolve administrative bottlenecks.
  • Prepare audit-ready reports and maintain logs for USDA, FDA, HACCP, and other regulatory compliance.
  • Promote a positive team environment and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or certification in business administration preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or operations support experience, ideally within supply chain, logistics, or foodservice distribution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, order entry, and compliance documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
