The Natura Resources team is seeking a qualified administrative assistant to support the team at Natura Resources in the development of liquid-fueled molten salt reactors. As a performance-oriented advanced reactor developer, Natura provides an opportunity for the selected individual to grow tremendously in skill and responsibility.
Description
Natura Resources is seeking an administrative assistant to support the team. A well-qualified individual for this position will work alongside the highly motivated team in the Natura Resources Research Alliance as well as our engineering and fabrication partners.
I. Basic Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Manages calendars for executive staff (3 people), including making travel arrangements.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Coordinates logistics for meetings, both online and in-person, including room setup and catering.
- Uses Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and edit documents.
- Operates and maintains office equipment.
- Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
- Maintains and posts on Natura Resources social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook).
- Posts articles/updates on Natura Resources website.
- Facilitates transfer of documents, both electronic and physical, with the Natura Resources team and our university and industry partners.
- Other duties as required.
II. Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with general computer skills including Windows, e-mail, and Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proficient with various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook).
- Experience updating and maintaining websites via Sanity (preferred) or Wordpress.
- Ability to adapt to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Requires minimum supervision and shows initiative to operate within defined time constraints.
- Shows initiative and responsible decision-making skills.
