Our client in West Houston is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. We are seeking candidates, preferably with a background in Logistics. This is a hybrid role, working from home on Friday's. Starting pay rate is $28-30/hr

Responsibilities:

• Enter in sales / purchase contract data
• Coordinate with freight forwarders / carriers to arrange for movement of materials

Qualfications:

• 5+ years experience in order entry, shipping, purchase orders, order management
• Knowledge of expediting, logistics, planning / forecasting, US freight and shipping terms
• Experience in distribution a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, tech savvy overall
