Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the smooth operations for the Medical Director. Support duties include managing calendars, professional correspondence, ordering supplies, handling facilities requests, answering calls courteously, drafting responses, preparing invoice payments, opening and reviewing mail, and preparing for meetings, including ordering lunches and managing AV/WebEx equipment.

The Administrative Assistant will process correspondence, schedule meetings, and perform functions that support various departments. They will establish cooperative relationships with staff, physicians, and administration, respond professionally to patients and staff, and facilitate daily office operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical front office setting
  • 3-5 years of executive-level administrative support experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with EPIC (a plus)
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, benefits, and authorization processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
