MAC General Contractors is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our growing office operations in Columbus, IN. Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to company leadership and project teams
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle office correspondence
- Maintain digital and paper filing systems for easy access and recordkeeping
- Perform data entry, create reports, and track information using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with light bookkeeping duties, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliations
- Anticipate team needs and take proactive steps to support office efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all tasks
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping or accounting processes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.
