Temporary Event Assistant Needed – June 6–7 | Austin, TX

Are you friendly, reliable, and love books? We’re looking for a Temporary Event Assistant to help with our book table during a local book fair in Austin.

• Thursday, June 6: Afternoon/evening (for set-up)
• Friday, June 7: Full day (event support and breakdown)

Location: Central Austin (exact venue details will be provided upon hiring)

• Assist with unloading, setting up, and organizing a book display
• Help greet guests and engage with attendees at the book table
• Track sales and handle light transactions (Square or similar device)
• Support the pack-up and breakdown of the display for transport

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 20–30 lbs
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Friendly and dependable
• Prior event or customer service experience a plus!
