Responsibilities:

Candidate will provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Chemical and Biological Center (CBC), onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood), MD. Candidate will support senior management with the organization’s missions, functions and operations.

  • Assist the Directorate management, program managers, and staff with budget, programmatic, and administrative requirements. Support and consolidate contractor associated management costs.
  • Gather, track, and analyze project data sheets.
  • Support facility contracts management.
  • Perform financial data and recordkeeping tasks in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Perform administrative support functions including scheduling/preparing for meetings, maintaining calendars, drafting presentations, consolidating reports, and planning/conducting conferences and other events.
  • Manage the tasker system and daily status updates.
  • Pay: From $75K - $85K per year based on experience and qualifications

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree with added experience.

Required Experience:

  • Must have 7+ years of administrative experience with 4 yrs. experience in DoD administrative and programmatic support.
  • Must have 4 years of experience with recordkeeping and maintaining and analyzing financial data and databases.
  • Must have experience with managing calendars, scheduling and preparing presentations for meetings, and drafting/editing documents.
  • Advanced level of experience with Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills, records keeping, and written and oral communications skills in English.

Bonus Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience with Army specific policies and requirements.
  • Experience supporting the CBC or other DoD scientific organizations.
  • Intermediate level experience with MS Access or other databases.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
