Gray Construction is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Reno, NV team.

Who We Want… (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and one year of related experience; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LEED accreditation required.
- Must possess basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail applications. May also require working knowledge of scheduling applications.

What We Expect… (Essential Functions) – Responsibilities
- Perform quantity take-off(s), cost estimates, and bid solicitation as directed by supervisor.
- Provide research options and regulatory information as required. Investigate and resolve issues on behalf of management.
- Purchase and coordinate the delivery of certain materials or services for the project(s), ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications and budget. Ability to approve change orders and invoices.
- Review vendor or subcontractor submittals for construction or internal operations related projects.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports to support management of the project(s), such as monthly red files, progress analyses/schedules, billings, and status reports.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining job files to ensure continuity of work flow.
- Communicate effectively with customers, direct consultants, and subcontractors on the project(s).
- Direct the day-to-day duties of administrative staff.
- Responsible for all components related to LEED-certified buildings, including creating the application, determining the rating system, registering the project, tracking progress, organizing data, communicating with subcontractors, and budgeting as it relates to the entire cost of the project.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of policies/procedures regarding submittals, proposals, invoices, and change orders.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Indirectly supervises the activities of certain consultants, administrative staff, and interns.

The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23.71 to $32.20 hourly.
