Electronic Restoration Services (ERS) is a disaster electronics restoration company specializing in the restoration of consumer and commercial electronics. Administrative Assistant

Job Description

This role reports directly to the GM/owner and is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This unique position requires strong administrative abilities, outstanding customer service, and proficiencies in logistics. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following areas:

Responsibilities

  • Customer service – answering phones and ensuring that quality customer service is provided, corresponding via e-mail, and timely follow-up with clients, staff, and other offices.
  • Accounting – managing accounts receivable and collections.
  • Purchasing – office maintenance, office and warehouse supplies for all 3 departments.
  • Human Resources – job posting, maintaining job descriptions, onboarding of new employees, ensuring compliance to all local, state and federal employment laws, maintaining personnel files, payroll, and supporting the payroll process.
  • Job Tracking – thorough collection, accurate entry, and timely updating of job-specific information into company systems and tracking databases.
  • Logistics – coordination of staff and vehicles in scheduling jobs while optimizing company resources and time.

Qualifications / Skills

  • 2 years of administration/office management and operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with insurance claims and/or logistics a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform work without direct supervision.
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check.
  • The ideal candidate for this position will have an associate degree (preferred).

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour.

The people there are very nice and helpful. It is a great place to gain experience with just about everything that has a circuit board. Every day was different from the last, I learned something new every day it felt like. The franchise owner and the HR department worked in the same office as I did, so I was always able to talk to them if I needed.
