Overview
Administrative Assistant at St. Joseph’s Health. Responsible for greeting all patients and visitors and projecting a positive image through congenial customer service skills, professional behavior and dress, concise communications, sound judgment, and proficiency in handling inquiries, identifying locations of service for patients, and providing appropriate directions. Assists in account activation and Document Imaging.

- Basic technical training in medical office practice with 3–6 months of on‑the‑job training preferred.
- Bilingual strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is considered an asset.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
About The Team
St. Joseph’s Health officially opened the Totowa Health Campus during a special ceremony that included a ribbon cutting and a blessing by the Most Reverend Kevin Sweeney, Bishop of the Diocese of Paterson. More than 100 people attended the event, including Congressman Bill Pascrell, 9th District of New Jersey; John Coiro, Mayor of Totowa; and Senator Kristen Corrado, of New Jersey’s 40th Legislative District.
The new campus, located at 225 Minnisink Road in Totowa, is a 140,000-square-foot facility that integrates a comprehensive listing of outpatient services, including primary and urgent care, diagnostic imaging including MRI and CT, Radiology, Lab Services and Pharmacy all under one roof. A host of medical and surgical physician offices are located on the campus, including cardiology, urology and gynecology, along with specialty Centers including Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. This fall, the health campus will also be the new home of a Comprehensive Cancer Center opening in October.
