Overview

Provides administrative support to meet the needs of INSCOM staff. The position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs general office, administrative, personnel and receptionist functions in support of INSCOM, including reviewing, editing, routing, tracking, and updating correspondence and information requests from external audit organizations.
  • Prepares correspondence in accordance with Army Regulation 25-50, files documents, duplicates as required, tracks the status of incoming suspense items, receives mail, and distributes it to the appropriate section.
  • Schedules conference rooms, notifies attendees, prepares correspondence including flyers, slides and meeting agendas, and assists in setup and cleanup of the meeting space as required.
  • Compiles office supply requests from subordinate sections, maintains supply order status, manages select staff calendars, schedules appointments, and makes arrangements for conferences, travel, lodging and rental car accommodations using the Defense Travel System.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a current Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI clearance with T5.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Excellent proofreading and attention to detail skills.
  • Database entry abilities (updating existing databases).
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidance.
  • Proficient in keyboarding with a broad range of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013 products.
  • Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System.
  • Knowledge of office machines to print, scan and fax documents.

Salary: $45.12/hourly
