Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: REEF (Responsibility, Education, Exercise, and Fun)
FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt
Reports to: REEF Operations Managers, Director of REEF
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10AM - 6PM
Compensation: $51,000 - $53,550/year
Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative support to the REEF program, staff, and management team to ensure compliance of the program. This role contributes to a variety of administrative projects and tasks associated with the general operation of a public charter school and its before/after school care program. Essential Responsibilities, including but not limited:
- Provide administrative support to the REEF leadership team contributing to the efficient operation of the REEF program.
- Preparing all programmatic communications to submit to the director for review and approval.
- Collaborates with the REEF leadership team throughout all enrollment processes.
- Drives the creation of a filing system, while developing and implementing the standard operating procedures to ensure a continuity of quality of services.
- Manages the program's calendar, in an effort to monitor all scheduled events/activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative/assistant role, preferably in a school setting
- Must have proficient technology skills (e.g., Mac and Google Docs are a must)
- Proven record of high level of professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
