Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Truck Driver located in Norfolk, VA. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting freight from the port to various locations. Daily tasks include ensuring timely deliveries, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining the truck in excellent condition. The driver will also communicate with dispatchers to coordinate routes and schedules. This position will be for local hauling.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL Class A license and experience in Truck Driving
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations
• Experience with Port of Norfolk
• Ability to maintain and operate trucks safely & efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to read and write in English
• TWIC
• Clean MVR & background check
• Can drive a manual
• 2 years driving experience
