What You Can Expect

Drive company truck/van to and from other locations for pickup and delivery. Communication with Main Campus and other company locations in the area needing services.

How You'll Create Impact

Pick up and deliver to other area Zimmer Biomet locations
Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance for vehicles
Communicate with other company customers that have special requests
Loading and unloading truck at all stops throughout the day
Deliver items to various production cells within Zimmer Biomet
Assist in other areas of the department such as Salvage, Receiving, or Stockroom when not driving
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any issues
Complete paperwork such as vendor sales, scrap logs, lot traceability, inventory counts, and other duties
Assist in production as needed based on workload
Maintain good housekeeping practices (5S)

Handle shifting priorities and deadlines
Work independently and communicate effectively
Lift 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds or more on occasion, and transport heavy materials
Operate material handling equipment safely
Perform walking, standing, bending, and heavy lifting regularly
Use JD Edwards computer system
Work overtime on short notice
Maintain good attendance
Operate shrink wrap machine
Be customer-oriented
Have a clean driving record
Comply with DOT and company regulations

Your Background

High School Diploma or GED
For Hire Endorsement or Commercial Driver License and tow motor license
