Overview
Charah Solutions is a leading provider of environmental services and byproduct sales to the power generation industry, based in Louisville, Kentucky. We assist utilities and independent power producers in managing and recycling ash byproducts from coal combustion, and we design and implement solutions for ash pond management, landfill construction, fly ash sales, and structural fill projects.

This position involves operating various dump and water trucks safely and efficiently at designated sites.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maneuver dump trucks in off-road settings
- Operate water trucks to suppress dust and maintain air quality
- Unload materials safely into designated areas
- Coordinate with crew members using signals
- Perform routine maintenance and identify repairs needed
- Adjust controls precisely and quickly
- Follow all safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least one year of truck operation experience
- Construction or similar environment experience preferred
- Knowledge of ash management, structural fills, and landfills preferred
- Knowledge of machinery maintenance and repair preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment & Conditions
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Physical ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to loud noises and atmospheric conditions
- Work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure
