Job description
Ramcast Steel Supply is a steel distributor and service center. We have a job opening for a full time driver.
Will be responsible for loading/inspecting their trucks for delivery. Will be responsible for unloading deliveries. Other tasks may include racking materials in the yard and helping yard foreman when not out for deliveries. Must help keep a clean and safe work environment.
Job Description:
*Transport and deliver steel tube metal and ornamental supplies to customers.
*Loading their trucks correctly with information on packing lists.
*Responsible for driving to and from designated location
*Must check invoices and shipping papers to determine nature of the load and verify for accuracy.
*Load and unload material by hand or forklift, which ever may be required. Lifting of 50 lbs-100 lbs
*Job starts at $19 and is based on your experience. After our 90 day trial period we can review.
Job Requirements:
· Class C, Clean DMV with no DUI's is a must and a copy will be required before employment.
· 1-2 years + Experience with driving a bobtail truck
· Loading, stacking materials familiar with quality control and shipping procedures
· Familiar with Pomona area as well as Southern California Roads and Freeways
· Experience in working for Steel Distribution is a plus
· Speaks Spanish is a plus
Requerimientos:
- Clase C , DMV limpio sin DUI es una necesidad y se requerirá una copia antes del empleo.
- 1-2 años de Experiencia + con la conducción de un camión bobtail
- Carga, materiales de apilamiento, familiarizados con el control de calidad y procedimientos de envío
- Familiarizarse con el área de Pomona, así como las carreteras y autopistas del sur de California
- Experiencia en el trabajo de distribución de acero es un plus
