Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute building products to customers, ensuring safe loading, handling, and transportation of materials and cargo.
• Drive trucks following commercial regulations, maneuvering in difficult situations.
• Complete paperwork and communicate with customers regarding questions or complaints.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips, report issues.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe condition, including fueling and servicing.
• Keep logs and records per D.O.T. regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing cargo.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic: HS Diploma, GED, or 2 years equivalent experience; valid Class A CDL; 2 years truck driving experience; knowledge of DOT regulations; able to perform in all weather conditions.

Preferred: Flatbed experience; knowledge of building products; forklift experience.
