Job Description

Location: Springfield, MO - Hiring immediately

Pay: Starting pay up to $95K depending on experience and job type (see pay options)

Schedule Available:

  • Traditional: typically dispatched 5.5 days per trip
  • 4x4: 4 days on, 4 days off
  • 6x3: 6 days on, 3 days off
  • Full-time & Part-time

Job Types: Customer Delivery Specialist & No-Touch Freight, team (Learn more)

Environment: Work in all weather conditions, including weekdays, weekends, days, and nights

Responsibilities

  • Operate DTI equipment safely and efficiently to transport products
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by DOT, FMCSA, and other authorities
  • Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods (except no-touch freight)
  • Manage MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed to meet company goals
  • Read and understand load paperwork, product, and packaging descriptions
  • Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the job

Role Specifics

  • Physical activity required; must be able to safely lift between 14 and 60 pounds
  • Sitting, walking, or standing during work hours

Minimum Requirements

  • Class A CDL and a good driving record, or ability to obtain one (we cover training costs)
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
  • Medical examiner certificate
  • Ability to pass physical ability test
  • Proficiency in English
  • Safety-first mindset

Preferred experience includes six months of over-the-road driving or graduation from a truck driver training school, and a high school diploma or GED. The role emphasizes safety for yourself and coworkers, and adherence to safety policies.
