Job Description

Under general supervision, perform safe & efficient water truck driver duties on heavy construction equipment used in highway construction, grading & paving operations, plants, & quarries. The incumbent will need to operate in a safe and efficient manner following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. This role is classified as safety sensitive.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE

  • Keep work area clean, orderly and safe
  • Perform work on multiple jobsites daily
  • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures
  • Apply improved work procedures to ensure safety and efficiency of operations
  • Accurately record all fuel pumped on and off of the fuel truck
  • Remove and replace fuel hose at each piece of equipment being serviced
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • High School or Degree or GED required
  • Have Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
  • Have HazMat and Tanker endorsements
  • Experience in heavy equipment fuel truck driving preferred but not required
