The right candidate will

  • Have the ability to drive tractor truck and trailer, including backing in and out of overhead doors
  • Transporting rolls between shops and prepping rolls for shipment per business demands.
  • Complete daily timecard correctly.
  • Must possess good mechanical skills in daily operations.
  • Working closely with shop employees to ensure consistent and accurate records.
  • Must possess good driving skills.
  • Carefully inspecting and documenting all incoming and outgoing roll activities for accuracy.
  • Working with Buyer to make sure loads are properly permitted with Indiana
  • Ability to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead crane.
  • Conduct safety and operational checks of truck and trailer prior to first movement
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs in order to chain and tarp load
  • Be capable of learning overhead crane in order to load and unload truck
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You Will Need

  • Valid Class A drivers license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Self-motivation to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues is essential.
  • Have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • A safety minded worker who is drug free, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record
