Branch Builds, Inc. is hiring: CDL TRUCK DRIVER in Roanoke

Branch is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Multi-Rear Axle Truck Driver to join our well-established, growing company. The Multi-Rear Axle Truck Driver transports construction materials and may have various kinds of beds attached, such as dump, flatbed, water tank, etc. This includes water wagon, service truck, hoist truck, and may pull semi-trailers or trailers.

Strong preference for candidates with Tanker endorsement.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain trucks and equipment, including oiling, greasing, servicing, and making normal operating adjustments.
2. Perform routine fueling, lubricating, and servicing.
3. Load and unload materials and operate the vehicle safely.
4. Start, manipulate, and control the vehicle.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Knowledge of construction techniques.
2. 1 to 3 years of multi-rear axle truck driving experience.
3. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
4. DOT experience preferred, but not required.

The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stand, talk, and hear. Occasionally, the employee must walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Details

• This is a full-time position, typically involving 40+ hours per week.
• Availability on-call early/late hours is required to handle delays, bad weather, and emergencies.
