The primary responsibility of R.D. Offutt Farms Seasonal Truck Drivers is to haul product from designated farm bins to the customer. All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, performing vehicle inspections, and operating loading equipment.

Job Duties

• Ensure vehicles are in good working condition and report any issues.
• Follow safety procedures and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Transport goods using trucks with capacities over 3 tons.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo properly.
• Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Present a professional image to customers and the community.
• Participate in training and team activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including climbing and walking on uneven ground.
• Availability for overtime during harvest season.
• Experience with farm or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior truck driving experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S.
