Truck Driver / Operator position at Kinder Morgan, Inc.

Holds a role involving hauling scrap from Port to Scrap Lines and to scrap piles, with operations including port-to-line movements and yard work as described below.

Responsibilities

• Inspects assigned truck for damage or problems at the beginning of the shift.
• Measures to obtain a tare weight at the beginning of the shift.
• Drives 60 ton trucks from the Port to Scrap Lines.
• Accurately records weight from payload meter for scrap hauled to lines.
• Drives trucks over scales and records accurate load weights for scrap hauled to the Scrap Line.
• Demonstrates the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds (High Physical Demand Level per DOL).
• Maintains certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134.
• Demonstrates aptitude to execute customer orders and maintain operations in all weather conditions.
• Works on and around barges and water.
• Must be available to work all shifts and weekends, including 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must meet and maintain certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds (High Physical Demand Level per DOL).
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and around barges and water.
• Availability to work all shifts and weekends, including 12-hour shifts.
