DFW Movers & Erectors, Inc. is hiring: CDL Truck Driver in Garland

Overview

DFW Movers & Erectors, Inc. is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The driver will assist the riggers and millwrights, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure proper loading and securement of items transported on the trailer, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and keep accurate driving logs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the riggers and millwrights in their job duties
• Perform proper, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe mechanical condition
• Load and secure items on the trailer; ensure proper load securement
• Keep the equipment clean on the inside and free from damage
• Maintain driving logs and a good driving record
• Prepare bill of lading documents for items hauled and ensure proper signatures on the receiving end
• Abide by all applicable laws or regulations that apply to CDL responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Assist the Riggers and Millwrights in their job duties
• Ability to work up to 11 hours a day
• Ability to operate various sized forklifts and aerial lifts
• Ability to climb steps and ladders
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish job duties
