Dry van lanes are available from the Chicago market for serious candidates. 53' van trailers are available for rent (2017 or newer), but owned trailers are welcome as long as they pass our inspection. Job Summary

Contract Driver (1099, Solo) - Dry Van OTR

• Gross weekly pay: $1,600 - $2,350
• CPM: $0.60 - $0.65
• Average miles/week: 2,500 - 3,500
• Sign-on bonus: $250
• Home time: 2-3 days out, with options to stay longer; every 7 days worked, get 2 days home; home every weekend

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo for safety and legality
• Submit customer paperwork, invoices, load orders, and reports
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs
• Stack, sort, load, and unload cargo
• Interact with customers and maintain relations
• Be available to meet pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Orientation Details

• Paid orientation
• Does not cover accommodation or travel expenses
• Drivers need their own room; breakfast included
• Orientation partly or fully online

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license without restrictions
• At least 2 years OTR experience
