Job Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles (primarily CDL Class A) to complete daily deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with DOT safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery and obtain required signatures or documentation
- Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
- Report any delays, accidents, mechanical issues, or route changes to dispatch or supervisor
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as needed
- Represent CEEUS in a courteous and professional manner at all customer locations
- Based in Glen Allen, VA with daily travel throughout the DMV area
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday with early morning starts
- Occasional overtime or adjusted schedules may be required based on route demand
- Requires ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Requires sitting, driving, climbing, and frequent movement in and out of truck
- Must be available and able to deliver material to affected areas after extreme weather events
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 years of experience
- Preferred experience driving a flatbed
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift over 50 lbs.
