• We are seeking a dependable local delivery truck driver with excellent customer service skills. As a part of our delivery team you will be responsible for driving your vehicle on a planned route to ensure deliveries are made on time. You will also be loading and unloading your truck using a pallet jack. Previous warehouse and delivery experience is preferred and a clean driving record is required.
  
  

• We are seeking a dependable local delivery truck driver with excellent customer service skills. As a part of our delivery team you will be responsible for driving your vehicle on a planned route to ensure deliveries are made on time. You will also be loading and unloading your truck using a pallet jack. Previous warehouse and delivery experience is preferred and a clean driving record is required.
  
  

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle.
• Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 26,000 lbs.
• Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination.
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent damage.
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload contents from truck at selected destinations.
• Interact with customers.
• Communicate traffic reports, delays, etc. to dispatch as needed.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Make safety a priority at all times.
  
  

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
• Valid driver's license, required.
• DOT Medical (Must obtain by end of training)
• Experience driving a large company van or truck preferred.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Skilled and confident driver.
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a large vehicle.
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Experience using pallet jacks (preferred)
• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
• An innate sense of direction.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communicator.
