Job Overview

BC Excavating LTD is looking for skilled and reliable CDL Dump Truck Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely hauling materials such as aggregate, dirt, and other construction loads to and from customer sites across Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana. This position is ideal for experienced drivers who value safety, communication, and teamwork. Responsibilities

  • Haul aggregate, dirt, and other materials to and from customer and project sites as directed by dispatch.
  • Safely operate Class A or Class B dump trucks in compliance with DOT and company standards.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and promptly turn in all delivery paperwork to the office.
  • Communicate regularly with the dispatch team, supervisors, and maintenance staff to report issues or updates.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines, ensuring secure transportation of all materials.
  • Work as part of a small, collaborative team of professional drivers.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating commercial vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
  • Ability to complete pre- and post-trip inspections accurately.
  • Reliable, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and follow dispatch instructions.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Schedule

  • Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime as needed

Work Location:

  • Field-based | Projects located throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana
  • Drivers may be required to travel and stay overnight when necessary (company-furnished hotels).
