We are a locally owned and operated retail store specializing in precious metals with a focus on buying & selling jewelry, coins and bullion.

We are seeking detail oriented, task driven individuals to progress and promote within the company. This is a customer facing position in a busy environment. No prior knowledge of coins or jewelry is required but previous work experience in retail or the service industry is preferred.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Greeting customers and assessing the ways we can help them with their needs

  • Calculating accurate arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

  • Maintaining store appearance

  • Sorting, organizing, and packaging of inventory

  • Performing all operational procedures accurately, in accordance with existing policies

  • Learning new processes and programs as the need arises

  • Additional Duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years experience in a retail environment

  • Computer Proficiency including Google Suite


Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills & general math skills (ability to use a calculator for basic computation)

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able and motivated to manage priorities and workflow

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams


Physical Demands and Work Environment:


  • It may involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment, and requires working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods

  • Must be able to sit for up to eight hours per day, type on the computer for several hours a day, talk on the phone frequently throughout the day, stand for up to 8 hours at events or offsite venues, and climb stairs multiple times throughout the day

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used in the workplace

  • Must be able to pass a background check and substance screening
