Senior Data Analyst
Overview
Superior Executive & Legal Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI, Azure data services, and API integrations to lead our analytics initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and evolving our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow from multiple platforms into Azure SQL, and delivering impactful insights through dynamic Power BI reports.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing Power BI dashboards used by key stakeholders across the organization.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of all reports through rigorous validation and QA processes.
Develop and automate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Databricks to ingest data from various platforms (e.g., ActionStep, Law Ruler, Meta Business, Google Ads, CallRail, Twilio, etc.).
Create and maintain custom API integrations to connect third-party systems with Azure SQL.
Build and maintain Excel/VBA tools to support ad hoc data analysis and business reporting needs.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for new reports and implement changes based on business needs.
Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion processes to ensure timely and accurate data refreshes.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data governance, quality, and security best practices are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report optimization.
Strong experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
Advanced Excel and VBA skills for reporting and automation.
Hands-on experience working with the Google Ads API and Meta Business API.
Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy custom APIs to facilitate data integration with Azure services.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM or case management systems like Law Ruler or ActionStep.
Familiarity with call tracking and communication platforms such as CallRail and Twilio.
Background in legal, marketing, or service-based industries is a plus.
