Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking aAI Data Analyst to be a part of our Consulting team. The AI Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing toll and traffic data using AI/ML tools, identifying patterns, generating predictive insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making. They bridge the gap between raw toll data and actionable intelligence, leveraging AI systems to improve toll collection efficiency, fraud detection, and roadway management.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation
- Collect, clean, and transform toll transaction data, vehicle logs, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) images, IoT sensor feeds, and payment data.
- Work with data engineers to maintain structured and unstructured data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness before feeding into AI models.
Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis using AI-powered analytics platforms.
- Detect patterns such as fraudulent transactions, toll evasion, unusual vehicle movement, and peak traffic times.
- Provide dashboard reports and visualizations for executives and operations teams.
AI/ML Support
- Work with AI engineers and data scientists to interpret model outputs (e.g., predictive traffic congestion, revenue forecasts).
- Validate and fine-tune AI model results to ensure business relevance.
- Use AI-driven BI tools (e.g., Power BI with AI visuals, Tableau AI, Azure Cognitive Services, AWS QuickSight) to automate insights.
Business Decision Support
- Translate complex AI/ML insights into business-friendly recommendations.
- Assist operations managers in making data-driven decisions on toll lane management, workforce allocation, and fraud prevention.
- Support pricing strategies (e.g., dynamic tolling models based on traffic flow).
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws (GDPR, DPDP, PCI-DSS).
- Create regular and ad-hoc reports for transport authorities, auditors, and leadership teams.
- Document AI data workflows, KPIs, and business impact.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst / Business Analyst with exposure to AI/ML tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, Power BI/Tableau.
- Familiarity with AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI).
- Understanding of data visualization, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Knowledge of tolling/payment systems data is a plus.
- Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics, AWS Data Analytics Specialty.
