RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a Data Analyst.

Summary:

As a Senior Enterprise Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in analytics, data modeling, and engineering. You will lead efforts to enable data-driven decision-making by collaborating with stakeholders, designing data models, integrating multiple platforms, and ensuring data quality and consistency across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of complex data solutions from analysis to implementation
• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions through stakeholder collaboration
• Design, prototype, and validate data structures and transformation logic
• Partner with engineering teams to implement robust and scalable data pipelines
• Develop and document enterprise data architecture, standards, and models
• Create and maintain data models (3NF and dimensional), ERDs, and mapping documents
• Enable self-service analytics and support cross-functional teams with accessible, high-quality data
• Support data science initiatives by preparing structured, trusted datasets for machine learning models
• Champion data governance, quality standards, and security best practices
• Act as a subject matter expert in multiple data domains
• Mentor team members and drive a culture of innovation and collaboration
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or related fields
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proven expertise in data warehouse design and modeling (3NF, star/snowflake)
• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., DBT, Databricks, Python)
• Deep understanding of data architecture, performance tuning, and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead projects and influence decision-making across teams
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Strong commitment to data privacy and security
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile environments and working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of healthcare or financial data is a plus
• Experience enabling analytics and reporting via BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Python or Spark development experience is a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
