Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst at Elder Research, you will work with a team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Data Engineers delivering custom analytic solutions to federal government clients. Your responsibilities include consulting with stakeholders, exploring and analyzing datasets using SQL and Python, developing dashboards, and communicating findings through reports and visualizations.
Position Requirements:
Required Clearance: Public Trust (IRS)
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
Required Skills / Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data issues.
- 2+ years of Data Analysis or Data Management experience.
- Must be located in the DC Metro area to attend meetings regularly.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
- Understanding of databases and database design.
- Experience with cleaning, managing, and processing large data volumes.
- Experience building dashboards with Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
