Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite position in Warwick, RI, on a 6-month contract. The Data Analyst will require strong data and analytics experience, utilizing data for statistical and policy analysis.

Responsibilities

1. Gather, compile, validate, and analyze healthcare data within the Data Warehouse to support client management of the RI Medicaid program.
2. Provide ongoing support of data collection and analysis to assist external and internal clients.
3. Use healthcare industry knowledge and analytical programming skills to develop and upgrade reports and reporting/analysis tools for client product offerings.
4. Develop Proof of Concept (POC) prototypes using Business Objects and Design Studio, presenting to clients and incorporating feedback.

Required Skills

1. Proficiency in data extraction tools such as SQL, Business Objects, TOAD, Excelsius, Design Studio, and SAS, including dashboard development and advanced analytics reporting.
2. Ability to analyze business and technical requirements for healthcare reporting deliverables (financial, eligibility, claims, etc.).
3. Troubleshoot complex healthcare data questions and facilitate effective resolution of inquiries.
4. Solid understanding of data warehouse logical mapping, data models, and business requirements to create client deliverables such as reports and documentation. S2T mapping analysis is a plus.
