Overview

The successful individual will be responsible for analyzing production and performance data, defining the interrelationship between key input and output data with the goal of improving product performance and yield. The role involves developing statistical models and trends, and communicating actions to enhance product quality.

Additionally, the Data Analyst will focus on enhancing data quality and supporting product development through a data-driven strategy. The role requires a passion for statistical analysis, working with large datasets, and managing data quality standards. The analyst will produce reports using current data analysis tools to recommend process and product improvements, researching and analyzing data to inform decisions about product and process design and control. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with database developers and data engineers to improve data collection and storage processes.
  • Identify trends and patterns in product and performance data using analysis tools.
  • Recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain performance reports.
  • Support strategic initiatives through cross-functional teamwork.
  • Document processes and maintain data records.
  • Define and refine processes and procedures.
  • Present analysis results to stakeholders.
  • Support team and company goals with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, data science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in data analysis, engineering, or related roles.
  • Experience with experimental design, modeling, and real data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, or similar software.
  • Six Sigma certification and project management training are preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SPSS, SAS, R, Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and statistical software.
  • Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data in a business context and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.

Environment & Physical Demands

  • This position requires onsite presence at our Alpharetta, GA headquarters.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally move around the office.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required for business needs.
