Job Title: Data Analyst

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our talented team.

Description:

The Data Analyst uses various tools to assist in data extraction, analysis, and reporting. With strong foundational skills in SQL, they will work with datasets from multiple sources, write complex queries to join disparate data, and collaborate with the Enterprise Business Intelligence team to provide meaningful insights that address business challenges across the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of relational databases are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technically-intensive field;
2. Proficiency in constructing and interpreting complex SQL queries, including joins, pivots, aggregation, case/if logic, CTEs, and window functions;
3. Understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI;
4. Familiarity with data exploration and basic statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing;
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently;
6. Ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with Snowflake databases;
2. Basic proficiency in R and/or Python for data manipulation;
3. Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts, such as multivariate regression, including how to perform and interpret them.

Skills:

• SQL and other database systems such as Snowflake, with experience in writing queries, pivots, and CTEs;
• Proficiency in constructing and interpreting complex SQL queries, including joins and pivots.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, or a relevant technical field.
