Zung Fu is seeking a talented Data Analyst for a 1-year contract to analyze complex datasets, deliver actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in data analysis and a keen interest in data engineering and cloud development, contributing to data pipeline optimization, cloud-based analytics solutions, and automation of tasks and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from diverse sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform statistical analysis and basic modelling to support business forecasting and decision-making.
  • Assist in designing and optimizing data pipelines, leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for efficient data processing.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes, such as data extraction, transformation, reporting, and workflow orchestration, using scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analyses and workflows.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate cloud-based tools and data engineering practices to enhance analytics workflows.
  • Stay updated on trends in data analytics, data engineering, cloud development, and process automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
  • Interest in data engineering, with exposure to ETL processes, data pipelines, or tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Enthusiasm for cloud development, with basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Location: Chai Wan
