Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL 60629
Duration: 3 months (could extend beyond)
Summary of Position:
- This position is part of the Chicago Bakery Team and reports to the CI Engineers. The analyst will support the team with timely data reporting to assess capability, downtime, and waste on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- The primary responsibilities include analyzing key performance indicators of production lines by extracting data from internal systems and creating visual reports to communicate findings clearly. Key metrics include case counts, waste, downtime, and failure modes.
- Determine the capability of production lines regarding quality attributes by analyzing data such as weight, moisture content, and ingredient delivery. Support capability studies and data extraction as guided by the business, presenting results using Excel, Minitab, and PowerPoint.
- Participate in meetings to review data and perform manual data entry as required.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn data extraction from internal software systems
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to record production data, including downtime and waste
- Ability to read and understand written instructions
- Capable of working safely, following all safety and GMP guidelines in a high-speed, automated food manufacturing environment
