By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE mission, ONE team, the Data Analyst enhances operational efficiencies at the credit union by conducting data manipulation and modeling. This role integrates data from multiple sources to generate required data elements, while providing high-quality service to internal and external members. The Data Analyst supports all departments by maintaining report forms, dashboards, and other information portals, creating specifications for reports based on business needs, and assisting in identifying and resolving problems. Key functions include ad-hoc reporting, data analytics, predictive modeling, outcomes analysis, and visualization.
**THIS POSITION IS HYBRID AND WILL REQUIRE WEEKLY OFFICE VISITS.**
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting priorities for current and future work with data on a daily basis, including translating requests for reports and analysis into an actionable data question, executing and communicating these analyses. Work independently on jointly determined work and projects. Work directly with CFO regarding credit union processes and special projects as needed.
- Seek and make business case for opportunities where predictive/prescriptive analytics can add value for the credit union.
- Work with third-party vendors to prioritize data science activities and contribute to the direction of future work.
- Maintain a high level of organizational and operational awareness, independently seeking out opportunities to enhance understanding and disseminate this understanding across the Data Analytics Department.
- Seek to identify areas that may cause risk or affect the credit union’s overall financial position. Research and make recommendations resulting in organizational improvements in policies or processes.
- Communicate the results of analysis and modeling to stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills:
ExperienceTwo to three years of similar or related experience.
Intermediate SQL experience.
Financial or Credit Union industry experience a plus.
Education(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal SkillsWork involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other SkillsAdvanced experience with statistical programming skills (i.e. R, Python).
Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, vlookups, charts, and graphs.
Knowledge and understanding of organizational data systems.
