Data Analyst Job at Talascend, LLC in Phoenix

Talascend is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Overview

This role involves analyzing data, building KPIs and scorecards, and supporting the development of standard work, training materials, and change management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets using statistical techniques, data mining, and aggregation methods
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and scorecards to track project performance
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new tools and processes
• Assist in training development and change management efforts related to system rollouts and process updates
• Collaborate with business leaders and project stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Contribute to digital transformation efforts, particularly in Source-to-Contract and procurement-related systems
• Support vendor classification, compliance tracking, and supplier management initiatives
• Assist in structuring the Management Operating System (MOS) for the project
• Manage day-to-day data requests and reporting needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related role

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with SAP
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
• Background in supplier or vendor management systems
• Understanding of compliance processes and digital procurement tools
• Experience in training delivery or change management

Shift

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote; 8am - 5pm M - F
