Summary
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to support business objectives. This role requires proficiency in data visualization, query writing, and data preparation using industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights: Perform in-depth analysis of structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI. Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
- ETL & Data Preparation: Build and maintain data workflows using Alteryx Designer. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from multiple sources. Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define analytical needs and deliver solutions. Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Governance & Best Practices: Document processes, workflows, and methodologies. Follow established data governance and quality assurance procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a data analysis or BI role.
- Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, Tableau or Power BI, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience with Alteryx Server and/or Snowflake.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, five days per week.

Compensation
