As a member of the Lyft Urban Solutions team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of bikeshare by leveraging data to improve the performance of our bikeshare and scooter markets across America, especially focusing on tracking, diagnosing, and mitigating theft & loss trends. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations, hardware, software, customer support, and finance teams to identify opportunities and gaps in performance. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your analytical insights directly impact strategic decisions around hardware product development, staffing, and product changes, ultimately driving better performance and long-term investments in micromobility infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Operations, Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders on initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce asset loss
  2. Develop frameworks and scalable processes to streamline reporting, drive decision-making and prioritization
  3. Forecast operational requirements needed to maintain high service levels and meet contractual and financial targets
  4. Work with local markets to deliver ongoing support and deep dive analyses on performance; monitor and diagnose performance and present findings to key stakeholders
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to tackle complex problems including: theft & loss, asset tracking, Stations

Experience:

  1. 3+ years experience in a consulting, analytics/business intelligence, or related field
  2. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  3. Highly skilled in SQL and quantitative analysis, capable of deep diving into large datasets, extracting insights, and drawing actionable conclusions
  4. Experience building dashboards for performance analysis and developing scalable approaches for data visualization
  5. Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating unstructured problems into clear requirements with minimal oversight
  6. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams
  7. Excellent communication skills (listening, written, oral) for presenting findings and recommendations effectively
  8. Attention to detail, structured thinking, and experience in developing error-reducing processes
  9. Aptitude for translating real-world operations into analytical solutions
  10. Passionate about sustainable mobility and active transportation

This role is in-office on a hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Hybrid roles offer flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range in NYC is $90,000 - $112,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include bonuses and equity. More details will be provided during the hiring process.
