Job #196345 | US - IT - Data Modeler/Data Analyst | Toronto Dominion Bank
6 Month Contract (possible extension up to 2 years)
Location: Mount Laurel - hybrid work with 2-3 days remote, in-person interviews only, no relocation considered.
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting, staging, storing, migrating, hashing, and analyzing TD Bank (USA) data across multiple channels and product sets. The role involves developing logical data models, conducting data mining, and integrating/matching data for analytical purposes to address various business issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop database models and supporting documentation to meet business requirements.
- Define data requirements and business rules, perform logical and physical data modeling, and test database designs.
- Coordinate data models, dictionaries, and documentation across applications.
- Establish, communicate, and execute measurement and analytical strategies for TD Bank (USA).
- Analyze trends and data to interpret customer relationships and provide recommendations.
- Support channels initiatives with data extraction, migration, storage, and analysis.
- Define and manage online customer insights, KPIs, and web metrics.
- Provide data analysis and insights to stakeholders.
- Contribute to presentations for senior management.
- Establish standards, processes, and policies for online datamart.
- Educate business partners on data analytics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and initiate new analytics projects.
Qualifications
MUST HAVES
- Experience in logical/physical data modeling, database administration, impact analysis of data structure changes.
- 5+ years in ERWIN, OLTP, SQL or SAS, RUP, Oracle, MS Office Tools.
- Experience with large data sets, data modeling, and Hadoop (1 year).
- Pgp encryption experience.
NICE TO HAVE
- Data warehouse background.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, or related field; postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Experience with Data Warehouse, data mining, and modeling.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Experience with cross-channel data, data sanitization, extraction, transformation, and governance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAS, SQL, BI tools, SQL Server, encryption, web analytics tools.
- Knowledge of online/web/digital trends.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize tasks, and strong interpersonal skills.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
