Adecco is seeking a Data Analyst to turn large datasets into meaningful insights that guide decision-making across product, marketing, sales, and operations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to uncover opportunities that directly impact the way we reach and engage millions of students, teachers, and families.
This role is hybrid in NYC. Please only local candidates apply. The rate for this role is between $40-$48hr. Not available for C2C.
Base pay range
$40.00/hr - $48.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations and compelling data stories for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with business teams to understand needs, define key questions, and deliver relevant, data-driven solutions.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity to ensure high-quality analysis and reliable recommendations.
- Collaborate on projects that move the needle for the business—supporting decision-making with both quantitative rigor and business acumen.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of full-time experience in a Data Analyst role.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data cleaning, organization, and analysis.
- Strong business savvy with the ability to connect data insights to business goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience with Amazon S3 and/or AWS SageMaker/Jupyter Notebooks.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, finance, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
