The Opportunity:
As a data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to improve the veterans’ experience.

As a client-facing data analyst on our Health team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on modernizing government technologies.. Work with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics with Federal Government clients
• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Terraform, Go, Ruby, Bash, and Perl
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with Git and GitHub source control tools
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate or Tableau
• Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing methods
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to design and develop complex SQL queries and reports to retrieve required data, and troubleshoot data discrepancies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with code reviews on SQL change sets
• Experience working with developers to create and enforce best practices
• Ability to research independently, challenge and verify data, and provide recommendations and requirements for technical solutions

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
