Overview of the job
The Data Analytics Team is seeking a Data Analyst to transform large amounts of data into actionable insights and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will develop KPIs and dashboards, automate reports, and provide ad hoc analysis to support revenue decisions and business metrics.
Responsibilities
- Understand the changes that impact the business revenue and margin
- Detect trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to department leaders allowing them to make informed data-driven decisions to drive the core business.
- Conceptualize and maintain KPIs and reports.
- Develop standardized dashboards through deep data analysis and ad hoc reports to inform business decisions, with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
With a strong understanding of data analysis techniques, problem solving, and a love for data mining, you will transform large amounts of data into actionable insights and communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computers or related quantitative field.
- 4-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong statistical analysis, Python (libraries), SQL, and Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and interest in building data models for consumer behavior and business metrics.
- Experience developing and maintaining reports using data visualization tools.
Preferred qualifications
- Tableau data visualization proficiency.
- Proficiency in statistical methods, including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with tracking and analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Optimizely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while balancing business needs and data constraints.
- Familiarity with Jira and GitLab.
