Business Data Analyst Job at Metisthemis in Lake Forest

Duties:

1. Collect financial data from various sources such as market databases, financial statements, financial reports, and internal databases.
2. Design and implement algorithms to optimize asset allocation and portfolio management.
3. Develop and implement predictive models to forecast market trends, asset performance, and investment risks.
4. Refine and improve existing algorithms based on performance metrics and evolving market conditions; stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and tools.
5. Execute statistical and data-mining techniques such as hypothesis testing and retrieval processes on large data sets to identify trends, figures, and other relevant information.
6. Work closely with other teams of Metis Themis and its clients, including investment analysts and IT professionals, to integrate data solutions into business processes; provide technical expertise and support for investment projects and strategic initiatives.
7. Make business recommendations and present solutions to clients to drive decision-making.
8. Develop risk management strategies and recommend adjustments to investment portfolios based on risk-return profiles.

Requirements

Job Opening: Business Data Analyst (Lake Forest, CA); Full-time position

Educational Requirement: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics & Statistics, or related field

Work Experience: Minimum of 36 months of related experience

Wage Offer: $73,798 per year
