The role is part of a contract with a federal government client supporting an Army project and requires on-site reporting in Huntsville, AL at Redstone.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly complex data mining, statistical analysis, trend analysis, and causal analysis.
• Perform as a technical lead responsible for monitoring and providing monthly contract reports and deliverables.
• Integrate multiple disciplines in an operations research team and translate methods into language and application understandable by operational managers.
• Review and update quality control methods on products.
• Prepare and update training materials to ensure personnel gain understanding of key analytic tools, procedures, and methodologies.
• Distill structured and unstructured data into cohesive analytical products for contracting functional business area audiences.
• Support pattern analysis methods to formulate recommendations to operational managers based on past, current, and anticipated operational environments.

Education And Experience

• 8+ years in a technical field
• BA/BS in a relevant field is required.

Required Skills

• High proficiency in Power BI and prior experience as a Power BI Consultant.
• Experience advising senior DoD decision makers on methodologies, results, and conclusions from applied operations research, using tools such as Logistics Management Program, Vantage, Virtual Contracting Enterprise, GFEBS, SAP Business Objects/Web Intelligence, Microsoft SharePoint, Army-specific contract writing systems (PD2 and PADDS), and related government and commercial processes.
• Strong data manipulation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical skills in statistics, programming languages like R or Python, SQL, data visualization, and data cleaning/preparation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Security Clearance

• Active Secret clearance is required.
